If your Kaiser washing machine is equipped with an electronic display, it will warn of the slightest system malfunction. Knowing what this or that error code means, you can quickly take the necessary actions without calling the wizard.
We have collected Kaiser error codes in tables so that you have all the information about the meaning of the code, the reasons for its appearance and recommendations on how to fix the breakdown.
Error table for cars with the LOGIC CONTROL system
AGRs equipped with the LOGIC CONTROL system, and these are models with a TE prefix (for example, W40TlTe), include an LCD display in the design. Errors in EXX format are displayed on it, where XX is a digital combination.
Combination | Cause | How does it manifest | What to check first |
E01 | There is no signal from the limit switch of the locking mechanism that the hatch is closed. | After 15 seconds, the combination E01 lights up, the washing stops. | Check:
|
E02 | The tank is filled with water for more than 120 seconds. | The ENDE lamp blinks, washing continues. At the end of the wash cycle, the system generates error E02. |
|
E03 | Water from the tank drains longer than the permissible 90 seconds. | The ENDE lamp blinks, washing is continuous. After the water has merged, the extraction takes place at a speed of not more than 400 revolutions in 1 minute. After the wash cycle, the machine shows the code E03 on the display. | Blockage in the drain system. |
E04 | The pressure switch gave a signal about an overflow of water. | The washing ends in advance, the drain pump starts, and the display shows error E04. After the sensor sends an empty tank signal, after 90 seconds the drain pump stops working. If water is poured into the tank again after the code appears on the display, the pump will start again. | You can understand how to fix the breakdown based on the reasons for the failure:
|
E05 | After 10 minutes from the start of the water inlet, the pressure switch did not signal that the nominal level was reached. | The washing machine interrupts the wash cycle and issues the E05 code. | Error reset depends on the cause:
|
E06 | After 10 minutes of operation of the pump, the pressure switch did not give a signal that the tank is already empty. | The wash cycle ends prematurely and code E06 lights up. | If the display shows E06, then:
|
E07 | Leakage inside the housing - onto the pallet. | Failure in the washing mode, the code E07 is lit on the display. The drain pump starts and turns off after 90 seconds after the pressure switch transmits an empty tank signal. | The cause of the breakdown may be:
|
E08 | In the power supply network, the parameters exceeded the permissible limits of 190-235V, the frequency - 50/60 Hz. | DTC E08 appears both when the washing machine is plugged into the network, and later when washing. | Power outages must be fixed. Contact an electrician. |
E11 | Damage to the hatch block relay. | By issuing a lock command, the system issues an E11 code, stopping the wash cycle. | The control module is probably out of order. |
E21 | The signal from the tachogenerator reporting the rotation of the electric motor is not fixed. | Washing is completed ahead of schedule, the display shows error E21. | Likely:
|
E22 | The motor starts to spin without a command. | Early termination of the washing mode, display of code E22. | In this case, the following occurs:
|
E31 | He closed the temperature sensor. | The washing continues, and after its completion, the code E31 or E32 lights up. | Breakage lies in the thermistor (t ° sensor). |
E32 | The contacts of the temperature sensor are broken. | Maintenance of contacts and wiring of the temperature sensor is required.
E42 | The door does not open after washing for more than 2 minutes. | The combination E42 lights up on the scoreboard. | Failure could be caused by a breakdown of the control module. |
Codes for CM with PB ECOTRONIC system
If you have a Kaiser washing machine model W43.10 or W59.10, then on the control panel of your SMA there are LEDs that indicate the selected water temperature in the tank:
- 95 ° C (T95).
- 60 ° C (T60).
- 40 ° C (T40).
- 30 ° C (T30).
- “Heating ON” (T0).
Errors that occur in these models can be easily calculated by a combination of indicators. If the machine is working, only 1 light is on, if 2 is a problem in the system, you need to remove the error.
If you notice other combinations of indicators that are not in the table below, do not rack your brains on what this blink means - all other combinations indicate a breakdown of the electronic module.
Light bulb combination | Cause | How does it manifest | What to check first |
T95 + T60 | There is no signal that the hatch is closed. | After 15 seconds, the T90 and T60 bulbs turn on, washing stops ahead of time. | The solution to the problem is to eliminate the following causes:
|
T60 + T40 | The blocking triac is broken. | After 2 seconds, the T60 and T40 lamps turn on, the wash cycle stops prematurely. | Most likely, the electronic control module is broken. |
T95 + T0 | It took more than 120 seconds to fill the SMA tank. | When washing, the Gotowa light comes on, but the program does not end. The T95 and T0 indicators light up. | Perhaps the error was caused by such reasons:
|
T95 + T60 + T0 | After ten minutes of filling the tank with water, there is no signal from the pressure switch to fill the tank. | The washing stops ahead of schedule, the T95, T60 and T0 lamps light up.
T95 + T30 | Water drains for more than 90 seconds. | When washing, the Gotowa light blinks; washing continues. Spin occurs at a speed not exceeding 400 revolutions. After the wash cycle, two lamps light up: T95 and T30. | The reason is worth looking for in the drain system. Perhaps the drainage system is clogged. Checking both the hose and the filter is required. |
T95 + T60 + T30 | After a ten-minute operation of the drain pump, the pressure switch does not signal an empty tank. | Washing is completed ahead of schedule, indicators T95, T60 and T30 light up. | Likely:
|
T95 + T40 | A signal is received from the overflow from the pressure switch. | The washing stops, the pump starts and the T95 and T40 lamps light up. After the sensor transmits a signal that the tank is empty, after 90 seconds the drain pump completes. If after this the water is again poured into the tank, the pump will turn on again. | The reasons for the failure:
|
T40 + T30 | I closed the thermistor. | The washing continues, the T40 and T30 indicators light up. | The temperature sensor is broken. |
T30 + T0 | The thermistor circuit broke. | Washing does not stop; at the end, the T30 and T0 lamps turn on. | Most likely, the wiring leading to the temperature sensor was cut off. |
T60 + T30 | The tachogenerator does not report that the motor is spinning. | Washing ends ahead of schedule, T60 and T30 bulbs turn on. | The reasons:
|
T95 + T30 + T0 | The network voltage is too high - above 253V. | All temperature bulbs, except T60, can light up both during washing and before it - immediately when the SMA is connected to the network. | Power failure, call an electrician. |
T60 + T0 | Without a start command, the engine begins to spin. | Washing is completed ahead of schedule, diode lamps T60 and T0 are turned on. | Such failures probably occurred:
|
T95 + T60 + T40 | A water leak began in the AGR pan. | Washing stops, all temperature indicators light up, except for T30. The drain pump starts and turns off after 90 seconds after the pressure switch transmits an empty tank signal. |
|
T40 + T30 + T0 | The sunroof is closed for more than 2 minutes after the completion of the washing program. | The temperature indicators T40 and T30 and the T0 lamp are on, the door does not open for more than 120 seconds. | In this case, we can talk about both the breakdown of the blocker and the failure of the control module. |
The fault codes listed in the tables will help you understand what a particular code or combination of bulbs means and what to do to avoid a serious breakdown.
The Kaiser washing machine will last a long time, if you do not ignore the mistakes, eliminate them on time yourself or with the help of a specialist.
