What if the Bosch washing machine does not have water and the system does not fill it? At the same time, error code F29 is lit on the board, which means: water does not pass through the flow sensor.
Need to do troubleshooting and troubleshooting. Sometimes DTC F 29 can be repaired by yourself without resorting to repair.
Reasons and methods for troubleshooting
After starting up the Bosch washing machine, you don’t hear the characteristic sound of the water entering, or it comes in too slowly.
Before opening the washer and disassembling parts, try to remove error 29 as follows:
Incorrect installation
Check that the inlet hose is correctly connected to the CM Bosch. Are there any kinks and kinks, is the hose correctly located relative to the tank (at least 50 cm from the floor).
If connected incorrectly, self-draining into the sewer can occur.
Lack of pressure
Finding the reason is simple: disconnect the inlet hose and lower it into the sink. If you see that the pressure is too weak, the problem becomes obvious. How to fix the situation:
- Turn the inlet valve, it may be blocked or not fully open.
- Wait until pressure appears.
- Call plumbing to solve the problem.
Door is not tightly closed
Press the hatch door tightly - until a characteristic click is heard. Until the door locks completely, Bosch does not start the wash program.
Inspect the door handle, latch condition. Over time, the tab-latch breaks or shifts, which prevents it from getting into the lock hole. You need to install it in place.
Additionally inspect the side hinges in case the skylight is skewed.
The door may not close due to a UBL failure. The locking device closes the hatch at the electronic level, and then sends a signal to the module about the possibility of starting the wash. You can check the UBL with the help of a tester.
Filter clogging
A tight filter screen is located between the inlet valve and the inlet hose. If debris and impurities get in, it can become clogged.
Disconnect the hose, use a pair of pliers to remove the mesh and clean.
After installation, run the Bosch washer. If it still shows fault code F29 on the display, it means that the error could not be reset.
DIY repair
You tried to solve the problem, but nothing came of it. How to fix the fault and remove the error F29?
Repair or replacement of parts is required.
Inlet valve
If it malfunctions, water will not be poured into the tank. You need to check the valve for serviceability, which means disassembling the top of the SM Bosch.
Having removed the top panel, you will see the valve. It is necessary to measure the resistance of its coil with a tester. If the coil is defective, it can be replaced.
However, a complete valve replacement is recommended - for the normal operation of the AGR and elimination of the error.
Flow sensor and water pressure sensor
If the pressure switch (pressure switch) breaks down, error F29 can also be displayed.
First of all, you need to check the pressure switch tube for clogging. The device is also located at the top of the Bosch machine, so nothing else needs to be disassembled. Disconnect the tube from the sensor and flush under the tap. Now check the pressure switch.
If a malfunction is not possible, install a new part.
Additionally, check for a water supply sensor that could have failed. As a result of a malfunction of the device, the module does not receive a signal about the amount of water collected, so the system generates error F29.
Control block
Repair of the electronic unit is a complicated matter. In most cases, it is easier to replace the entire device. However, before replacing, be sure to check the module for serviceability. To do this, ring all the elements of the board with a multimeter.
Remember, always unplug the Bosch washing machine from the mains and communications before starting work.
